Meet your educator & doula

Hi, I’m Caroline
Hurst-Millican.

“You deserve to feel heard, informed, and supported.”

I’m Caroline Hurst-Millican—a mother of three, doula, and childbirth educator who has served over 57 families. My background includes working as a student midwife and midwife assistant in Las Vegas.

I’ve supported families through high-risk pregnancies, vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), vaginal birth after two cesareans (VBA2C), home births, births with planned epidurals, and cesarean births. I’ve also supported teen parents and single mothers, honoring each family’s circumstances, choices, and support needs.

My own three birth experiences and NICU experiences shape the care I offer. I know how much it matters to feel heard, understand your options, and have someone beside you when plans change. That’s why my work centers on personalized, trauma-informed, evidence-based education and compassionate support.

A little clarity

Questions are always welcome.

Do I need to know what kind of birth I want?

No. You can arrive with a clear plan, a long list of questions, or no idea where to begin. Education is personalized to your goals and preferences.

Can my partner or support person join?

Yes. Partner involvement is part of preparation. Your support person is welcome in private classes and comfort measures sessions.

Where do classes take place?

Private in-home classes are available in Colorado Springs, Fountain, and surrounding areas. Live online classes are also available. Contact Caroline to discuss your location and scheduling.

Do you offer in-hospital birth support?

My current focus is childbirth education, preparation, and postpartum support. If you’re looking for continuous in-hospital labor support, contact me to discuss referrals to trusted doulas.

How much does it cost?

Contact Caroline for current pricing and availability for your chosen service. We’ll discuss the details before you book.
